Montreal, September 5, 2026. Tangram HQ Studio introduces ChatDirect, its AI chatbot service for small and medium-sized businesses. ChatDirect is the first product born at the studio: a 2024 prototype that became a service used by real businesses. It is now in beta, close to launch.
The problem it solves
A small business loses potential customers every time a question goes unanswered in the evening, on the weekend or on a busy day. ChatDirect answers those visitors at any hour, based on the company's own information, qualifies their request and passes the leads on to the team.
What ChatDirect does
- A custom chatbot, trained on the company's website and documents, that answers in French, English and Spanish.
- A built-in lightweight CRM: lead tracking by stage, engagement-based scoring, email and text follow-ups.
- Appointment booking, connected to Calendly, Google Calendar or Cal.com.
- Three conversation modes, AI, human or hybrid, with handoff to a team member.
- A web portal where the company configures its chatbot and manages its leads, and an iPhone and Android companion app: real-time alerts, conversation tracking, call or text back in one tap.
- More than 20 integrations, including HubSpot, Pipedrive, Slack, WhatsApp and WordPress.
Built for local requirements
ChatDirect is hosted in Canada and complies with Quebec's Law 25 and the European GDPR: IP anonymization, a cookie-free mode, configurable data retention and encryption. It installs with a single line of code on the company's website.
