Privacy Policy
Tangram HQ Studio inc. complies with Law 25, Quebec's personal information protection legislation. This policy explains in plain terms what this website collects, which is close to nothing, and what happens when you write to us.
Privacy officer
At Tangram HQ Studio inc., Benoît Descary acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information, as required by Law 25.
For any question, access request or complaint: [email protected], or by mail at 310 Acadia, Lachine, Quebec H8T 2V7, Canada.
What this website collects
This site is made of static HTML pages. It asks you for nothing, creates no account and stores no data on our servers.
We record nothing about you, unless you choose to write to us.
Cookies and audience measurement
This site loads Google Tag Manager, a tag management service provided by Google. Google Tag Manager does not by itself set any cookie on your device and collects no information that identifies you.
No analytics or advertising tag is active at this time. Should we activate one, we will update this policy and ask for your consent beforehand, as required by Law 25.
You can block these scripts at any time through your browser settings or a blocking extension: the site remains fully functional.
The contact form
If you use the form on the Contact page, we collect the three pieces of information you enter: your name, your email address and the content of your message. We also record the date of submission and the originating IP address, solely to limit spam.
This information serves one purpose only: replying to you and following up on your request. It is never used for advertising.
The form is processed by a script hosted on our own hosting account, in Canada. Your information passes through no third-party service: it is sent straight to us by email.
Server logs
Our host keeps technical access logs (IP address, date, page requested), as any web server does. These logs exist for security and reliability. We do not consult them to identify you and we do not cross-reference them with any other source.
Hosting and where data is kept
The site is hosted in Canada. Emails you send us are kept in our business mailbox.
We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information. We do not share your information with anyone, unless required by law.
Retention period
We keep email exchanges for as long as needed to follow up on the relationship, then delete them. You may ask us to delete our exchanges at any time.
Your rights
Under Law 25, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous, and to request its deletion.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent, to request that your information be given to you in a structured, commonly used technological format (portability), and to request that information cease to be disseminated or be de-indexed.
Write to [email protected] to exercise any of these rights. We respond within 30 days.
Confidentiality incident
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the individuals concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, and record the incident in a register, as required by Law 25.
Complaint
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Changes
We will update this policy if our practices change, for instance if we add a form that transmits data to our servers, or an audience measurement tool. The update date below is authoritative.
