What is Tangram HQ Studio?
Tangram HQ Studio is a digital product studio based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The studio designs, codes and runs its own web and mobile applications, for businesses and consumers alike.
What kind of applications do you build?
We build three things: responsive web applications, iOS apps and Android apps. The same team handles design, development and launch, from prototype to deployment.
Where are you located?
The studio is in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Our products are built first for the Quebec and Canadian market, which includes local requirements around language and personal information protection.
Which products have you shipped?
Four products come out of the studio. ChatDirect is an AI chatbot with a lightweight CRM for small businesses. Olivi is a meal planner. Acheteur Futé is an AI home-buying coach for Quebec. PivotSEO, currently in development, tracks visibility in Google and in AI answer engines.
What does an "AI-native" studio actually mean?
Being AI-native means AI is part of how the work gets done, not just part of the finished product. At Tangram HQ, we design, prototype and ship with AI in the loop. The practical effect: a small team ships at the pace of a large one. And we only put AI inside a product when it genuinely serves the user.
Will my users' data stay in Canada?
It depends on the product. ChatDirect is hosted in Canada and compliant with Law 25, Quebec's personal information protection legislation. For any other project, hosting and data residency are decided up front. Write to us so we can settle it before anything gets built.
What is visibility in AI answer engines?
It means being cited by tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google's AI overviews when someone asks a question in your field. It is measured differently from classic search ranking: there is no numbered position, only citations. That is exactly what PivotSEO tracks, alongside traditional Google rankings.
